Traditional Climbing 1 is the first of three courses desiged to expand technical climbing knowledge from sport climbing ino the realm of "trad" climbing. This course is designed with ground-based practice allowing participants to:
This full-day course ends with participants toprope climbing to see how gear is used in single-pitch terrain. Participants are responsiable for their own transportation as well as food and drink for this full-day course. Prerequisite sport climbing experience is required.

Self Rescue for Multipitch ClimbingIn this 8-hour class, you will learn fundamental skills that are essential for efficient self-rescue on multipitch terrain. Participants should have some multipitch climbing experience. Class size limited to 6 participants. Location: Mount Lemmon.
Prerequisites:
You should have some multipitch climbing experience going into the class. Those newer to multipitch climbing should have at least five multipitch climbs and familiarity with the knots and basic terms used in this kind of terrain.
